Job Description

ESS is an end-to-end background screening services provider within the Workforce Logiq total workforce management solutions portfolio.  Our comprehensive background-screening product offerings help our client organizations make educated hiring decisions based on their individual requirements—minimizing risk and maximizing their workforce investment.

 

The ESS Leader must be experienced in pre-employment screening operations, and will have full responsibility and oversight of background screening business process, P&L and team leadership. Core areas of focus are general management, compliance, business development, and account management, all day to day operations and customer service. The goal for the successful candidate is to continue year over year growth while building a diversified customer base. This is a remote role, with a preference for someone in Florida or within a 3-hour flight radius of Orlando.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and leadership of employment screening operations in US and India
  • Establish core values and a KPI driven operational model 
  • Build and manage existing customer relationships to gain new accounts
  • Review and analyze market data to develop and implement business plan and utilize company resources to maximize sales effectiveness
  • Assess potential of prospects and develop strategies and presentation accordingly
  • Coordinate processes with internal, external and/or third parties when necessary
  • Oversee and manage daily operations related to Background & Drug screening
  • Stay up to date with FCRA and EEOC regulations to ensure quality & compliance
  • Research new background products and services
  • Establish onshore and offshore functional operational model
  • Establish a working set of KPIs to set and evaluate daily operational performance
  • Define and implement key vertical offerings to drive penetration enabling revenue growth
  • Coach and mentor team to ensure team members meet and exceed required goals
  • Explore ways to automate manual operations
  • Develop and implement efficient operating procedures and processes
  • Provide Client Service as needed
  • Identify and integrate processes for Criminal Records team to drive cost saving
  • Manage a network of screening vendors, review and approve monthly vendor invoices
  • Lead efforts to expand ESS operations in India, manage and approve India QA scores
  • Work with the invoicing team on monthly billing and aging reports
  • Monthly coding of PNC credit card transactions
  • Respond to audits and compliance reviews by vendors and customers
  • Attend industry related events, research best practices and stay active with NAPBS
  • Share Workforce Logiq’s corporate values with team and promote a company of one
  • Generate and maintain customer contact list for quarterly Net Promoter survey

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success managing operations for employment/preemployment solutions provider.
  • Must be experienced in pre-employment screening operations
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of FCRA and Legal compliance
  • Experience managing/leading consulting, research services, and/or background-screening services is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a Client Management role responsible for service delivery
  • Prior sales experience in the Financial, Business Services, Human Resources/Capital industry is preferred
  • Ability to navigate within large, multi-product, matrixed organizations.
  • 5 years implementation of B2B sales 
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success, consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals, and accomplishment in prior positions.
  • College degree in Business Administration or related fields, or relevant work experience 
  • International Travel to India 2-4 times per year.
