  • Job Description

    The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for the effective management and maintenance of their assigned accounts receivable portfolio. This individual will work closely with internal and external teams to ensure invoicing is done timely, customers are complying with contractual payment terms and transactional portfolio discrepancies are resolved accordingly. The position also calls for effective management of month-end deliverables, financial audit support and other duties as assigned. Must be comfortable with high volume processing.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

     

    • Manage multiple accounts within Accounts Receivable Portfolio
    • Ensure customer invoicing is processed timely and accurately
    • Establish relationship with client contacts and internal client-facing employees.
    • Work with customers and colleagues to ensure clients are remitting payment within their contracted terms
    • Enforce collection and escalation protocols as needed
    • Oversee daily accounts receivable controls and reconciliation for customer accounts. Identify, document and resolve exceptions as needed
    • Management of time-sensitive month-end processes
    • Provide audit support as needed

    Qualifications:

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor’s degree + 3 years relevant experience

     

    Language Skills                                            

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Mathematical/ Excel Skills                                                  

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts and formulas using excel functions. Examples include Vlookups, pivot tables, averages, including days to pay. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Computer Skills                                            

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software (Great Plains or Dynamics AX preferably). MS Office a must with strong emphasis on Excel.

    Other Skills and Abilities                                        

    Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computer skills

    -       Ability to navigate multiple software systems and tie information together
